Condition & logistics
Running vs Not
We accept motorcycles in all conditions. If your bike is running, fantastic! If not, that's perfectly fine too. We'll help you through the process, ensuring your donation still makes an impact.
Title Issues
To complete your donation, make sure to sign the title with the odometer reading and get it ready for transfer. If there are any discrepancies, our team can help you navigate them.
Storage/Pickup Logistics
Got your motorcycle tucked away in the garage or parked at a friends? No problem! We’ll arrange for a convenient pickup time that works for you wherever it is stored.
Title transfer & paperwork
In Virginia, transferring the title of a motorcycle is straightforward. You'll need to complete the Virginia DMV Form VSA 66 for title transfer. Don’t forget to sign it with the odometer reading. If there’s any lien on the title, you'll want to clear that first. And remember, if you still have the plates, you'll need to return them to the DMV. We can guide you through this process to ensure a smooth donation.
Tax deduction for this donation
Your motorcycle donation may be tax-deductible, generally in the range of $500 to the full sale price if resold. We’ll provide you with IRS Form 1098-C after the sale, so keep it for your records. This allows you to maximize your deduction while supporting a cause that matters to you.
